At Cloudshop, we build, maintain, and design anything from small business sites to enterprise level ecommerce solutions.

You may be a small business in need of an online web presence, in which case you possibly don’t know where to start. We make this process easy. Regardless of your experience, we will help you get online with a high quality, modern, responsive website. Our process does not stop once we have finished developing your site, we will continue keeping it secure, updating it as your needs evolve, and any requested maintenance.

Let’s begin with an example of a small business or personal website project.

Initially, you may have chosen one of our popular packages at cloudshop.io/cheap-web-design, or you may have been in discussion with our team and we will have created a custom package individually tailored to your needs.

Once you formulate various details, we can begin the development process. Generally, we require something similar to the following:

What we need from you (before development begins)

  • Your business name
  • Any competitors - so we can analyze your competitor's websites & generate a unique design concept.
  • Your domain name
  • Your existing website (if applicable)
  • Any content (including images and other graphics, text, blog posts and so forth)

What we need from you (during the development process)

  • Finalized content: images, text, logo’s (if applicable)
  • A sitemap (for example, ‘home’, ‘about’, ‘blog’, ‘contact’)
  • Evaluations & refinements to our initial development website

What we need from you after the development process

  • After your website has been coded, we recommend that you provide feedback. This may include any changes to styling, content modifications, and anything else before we send live.

What do we do during the development process?

  • During the above stages we undertake a very specific project management & design process. This includes planning, design, development, and testing.

Planning:

This stage includes initial communication with the client, competitor research, business research, design concepts and brainstorming.

Design:

We take conclusions from the research in the planning stage and put it into practice. This includes wireframe designs, basic page layouts, basic colors, fonts and often logo design.

Development:

The information gathered in the planning and design stages are put into use. We code your website from the ground up. Depending on your package, this may take a day, or months. We may create you a static website written in either php or html code, or we may use a Content Management System or web framework. The final stages of development will include feedback from the client, as we create various layouts: we will look for your revisions.

Testing:

Depending on the size of the project, the testing stage may take hours, or weeks. If your project is minimal this stage will include implementing your evaluations, revisions & comments, as well as testing minor website addons such as webforms and chat widgets. If your project is large, this may include testing / implementing payment gateways and other complex procedures.

Larger projects will generally draw the planning, development, and design phases out into much more work, more evaluation, time and so forth.

How can we help you?

Small business / personal websites

If you are an individual, sole trader, or SME business we understand you don’t have the funding for a larger project, and of course don’t need any complex functionality requirements or website widgets & addons. We recommend any of our smaller pre-defined packages at cloudshop.io/cheap-web-design. Watch out for a sale - these can go for as little as $400.

Existing website owners

We have experience and are always happy to take on an existing project as we generally give the business a huge online difference. We can maintain your website by updating it’s existing pages: both content and styling. This can start from under $100. If you would like a complete refresh, we can port your Joomla website to a Wordpress or Drupal site (or similar migration), update your template, modify a non mobile friendly website, and more….
