Softaculous Install Scripts


What are softaculous install scripts?

All our hosting packages come with softaculous install addon, within cPanel.

This addon allows you to install scripts like Drupal, Wordpress, Magento, and hundreds more.

To manage or install scripts, or content management systems, via softaculous, all you need to do is:

  1. Log into cPanel
  2. Navigate to the 'Softaculous Apps Installer' section
  3. Click on any script.
  4. You may search for scripts using the navigation bar on the left.

We will now explain how to install Wordpress. You may use the same technique to install any other applications.


How can I install Wordpress automatically via cPanel Softaculous Install scripts?


  1. Navigate to the homepage of the Softaculous Apps Installer addon within cPanel (see above)
  2. Hover over 'Wordpress', click 'Install'
  3. Fill in the following fields:
  4. Name - the name of your website
  5. Site Description - the description (display depends on the script you have selected - with Wordpress this will be used for your website title and initial logo placeholder)
  6. Admin Username - the username you will use to login to the site
  7. Admin Password - the password you will use to login to the site
  8. Admin Email - the email you will use for administrative purposes, for example: receiving security update notifications, or new comment notifications.
  9. In directory - if you wish to install this at example.com/, leave this field blank (/)
